We only had about 100 miles to drive to Anchorage today so it was a short driving day. Again we were granted a clear day with bright sun and wonderful views of mountains on either side of the road.

A bit of shopping, finding a campground, and a short spell of sight seeing were the sum total of our tourist activities for the day.

At the campground internet access allowed Nina to research our options for traveling to Skagway and Haines. She discovered that there is a vehicular ferry between the two and has booked us on it so that we can drive into Haines and out of Skagway saving about 300 miles. She also discovered a day trip from Skagway to Juneau.
