We took an early morning hike before leaving Limestone Gorge and captured a few more pictures of Boab trees (which we learned from a nearby plaque probably arrived in Australia from Madagascar on ocean currents). Then retraced our route over the rough entry track.

However the real highlight of the day was at Lake Argyle where we decided to take a helicopter tour of the lake complete with a landing in a remote gorge, picnic hamper, red wine and sunset viewed from the air. Talk about decadent.

Thanks to HeliSpirit, the operator of the helicopter tour, and Christian our pilot, who certainly went our of his way to show us a good time, for a very memorable experience.

We stayed in the campground at Lake Argyle Resort. Good facilities including nighttime entertainment of live music and bingo style games.
