Today we simply had to move on from Undara to be within easy driving distance of Cobbold Gorge tomorrow morning. We chose to target the small town of Forsayth via Einasleigh.

Nina started her day with a walk around the Undara resort getting some good general shots as well as a few of the local animal population.

We also spent some of the day examining road-side-fungi. We noticed these growths a few days ago. They are definitely some form of fungus. But they seem to only grow on the edge of the paved (bitumen) roadway. Cannot find any reference to this stuff on google.

In Einasleigh:

  • We did another short walk along the Copperfield Gorge so that Nina could see the pond in the rock base of the river that I found last time but which she did not see.

  • We visited the town pub to look at a collection of minature figures, furniture and house settings.
