The highlight of the day was finding that RAAF Boab Quarry was still operating as an informal campground, and that the quarry was full of water offering good swimming opportunities. There was no water in the quarry in 2019 when we camped there.

After the stop at RAAF Boab we pretty much made it a driving day.

Fitzroy Crossing has a temporary earth bridge with a massive new bridge under construction. The floods here earlier in the year must have be tremendous.

Halls Creek Tourist Information Center seems to be closed for good.

We camped the night at a rest area north of Halls Creek. The rest area had a nice stretch of roadway for Nina's evening walk and a causeway where she met a very brave lizard (at least we think it is a lizard) that was also a capable swimmer.
