Today really was just a driving day, we have some business to do in Katherine and would like to have some of Friday available for that business. So the goal for the day was to get to within 300km of Katherine by the end of the day.

The drive this morning along the GNHW proved to be easy and quite scenic. The road was generally in good condition and traffic was light. Small mountains and escarpments made it visually interesting. There had also been a lot of buring-off.

At Doon Doon roadhouse we bought a pair of cheap reading glasses for Nina.

We planned on camping the night at the Nackeroo's Lookout just West of Timber Creek. We visited this place on our way West earlier in the trip and found it had great views of Timber Creek township and the Victoria River. But too many rowdy locals turned up early in the evening for our comfort so we packed up and continued East towards Victoria River Roadhouse. We eventualy stopped on a patch of dirt beside the road.
