The big news of today is that Brendon and Daniel completed the final 165km of their bicycle ride from Cairn, Queensland to Broome, Western Australia. A ride of some 4000km which they started on July 8th. For some images of the final day see Brendon's Instagram account brenwell.

On a more mundane note, Nina and I started the long trek back to Sydney with an uneventful day going South on the Stuart Highway. We stayed the night in the campground in Elliott, NT. The facility is quite run down but they have a sizeable flock of Peacocks which were entertaining..
