The plan was for today to be a driving day and to end the day in a position to arrive in Sydney tomorrow. Thus there was not much sight-seeing today.

We stopped in St George this morning for coffee (for me) and Nina's morning walk. It's a nice tidy town with a very pleasant riverside park.

Late in the morning we stopped in Goondiwindi for a break. A much larger town than St George and obviously a service center for local agriculture (grains and cotton). Also the home of Gunsynd and the Macintyre River and on the border between NSW and Queensland.

In Warialda we saw another Blue Tree and this one with an information plaque so we could finally find out the significance of such trees.

Just before entering the town of Manilla, NSW (where we spent the night) we came upon a real-live cattle drive. It was blocking the highway.

That pretty much brings this adventure to a close as tomorrow will be freeway driving back into Sydney.
