We did a bit of exploring around Gold Bridge this morning before heading down the Hurley Wilderness road, a summer only road that provides a short cut to Pemberton from Gold Bridge, it was quite rough and rocky as it seems to get a lot of traffic that is in a hurry.

The Hurley Road eventually transitions into the Lillooet Fire road before dropping into a valley called Pemberton Meadows. We found a nice cleared area well off the road for our evenings camp. Unfortunately it was not shaded so the hours before sunset were a bit hot, todays maximum got into the 90s°F. It was also a bit dusty as at this point the road was still rock and gravel.
