The day started with another rescue mission. One of the other campers at Twin One had managed to flatten their vehicle's battery overnight and came calling asking for a jump start; which of course we did. We like to pay it forward, we have been helped by other people many times.
From the camp we went back into Pemberton and spent some time indulging in a couple of local hikes. Fortunately the hikes we chose were mostly through forest and hence shaded as it was another hot day in BC. One of the hikes took us to Nairn Falls and for once Nina actually showed some interest in a waterfall. This one apparently does not fall into the category of if you have seen one you have seen them all.
For our evenings stop we chose Birkenhead Lake Provincial Park about 60 km north of Pemberton, a really picturesque lake and campground.
