By the time the nail job was complete and we had stocked up on groceries it was after lunch. At that point we had not finally decided exactly where we would go but as the afternoon proceeded it became clear we wanted (over the coming couple of days) to go as far north as Fort McMurray.

Most of the afternoon was spent on highway 28A and we saw lots of signs of the energy business. Lots of trucks, many oversized loads, lots and lots of guys in newish pickup trucks and extensive road works.

While out walking this evening Nina found some interesting mushroom groups.

We stopped for the night a little short of the town of Boyle at Long Lake Provincial Park. They only had a few spots available. All the locals are out camping for the weekend.
