The sky was gray this morning as we set out along Hwy 165 and it was not long before the rain started and proceeded to set in for the day. Thus the day turned into a long drive along a surprisingly good quality gravel road.
After 100 miles on 165 we joined up with the paved Hwy 2 (also called, according to our GPS the CANAM Hwy) and after a little while traveling south towards Prince Albert we found a nice gravel pit that was well sheltered from the noise of traffic on the highway.
