Today is a prep day; the goal - collect the rental bike Todd is going to ride (a brand new BMW R1250RT) and go for a test ride to help our US visitor get his first taste of riding on the left hand side of the road and taking round-abouts clockwise.

I am pleased to report the test ride went well with no indiscretions. We are all set for an early start tomorrow.

A note on the first photo above. We don't usually watch TV wearing motorcycle helmets. We were testing the bluetooth comms between the helmets and decided to do that infront of the TV - thats our story and we are sticking to it.

The 4th picture is taken at a cafe that is a haunt for motorcycle riders. The 3 bikes in the foreground (2 mini's and 1 normal) are just decorating the driveway; they are not customer bikes.
