This morning we spent some time talking to a group (of two vehicles each with two people) from Swiztland. We had a pleasant hour or so comparing notes about vehicles, talking about our respective past travels. It was interesting to Nina and I that one of the couples had recently completed a crossing of Russia and Mongolia.

Examining the Swiss motorhome and it's Iveco chassis I was reminded that the Europeans seem to have a much wider choice when it comes to the chassis for an expedition vehicle. The Iveco chassis was fulltime 4x4, selective locking center and both differentials, a high and low range for highway driving and an additional low range for off road driving. There was even a fan disconnect switch on the dash that would disable the engine cooling fan for deep water crossings.

After leaving the campground we spent a couple of hours at a local truck wash having the salt and sand from our night at Ojo De Liebre washed off before heading towards Cabo San Lucas.

We camped for the night at the Vagabond RV and Trailer Park on the eastern side of Cabo. It was a little difficult to find or at least access as we passed it by before noticing the sign and then returning was a little complicated. If you are following the instructions in Church and Church keep a sharp eye out as you enter the "lateral road".

The park seemed to be mostly long term campers or residents. Many of the RV spaces have been turned into dwelings (I don't know what else to call them). Some of these dwellings still have an RV of some kind as the center piece but others have dispensed with the RV altogether and are now simply permenant structures.
