Today was simply a driving day. We were on our way to Tucson to spend an evening with some friends from Gig Harbor who were escaping the wet weather of Washington and getting in a bit of golf. Though with the current cold snap in Arizona the golf appears to have been put on hold.
We had a delightful afternoon and evening with Marcie and Dan. They had even arranged with the management of the golf/residential area where they were staying to allow us to park the truck in front of their rental house.
During the hours of travel over the last couple of days we have started the shipping process. We reconnected with a shipping agent in Tacoma that we had contacted a year ago. Due to changes in shipping routes (we will now leave from Everett) that agent suggested a different agent. In any case we seem to have a booking. We will deliver the truck to the port on March 13th, the ship will depart March 20th and arrive April 8th.
