We had lunch today with two Australian ladies. Sarah, (with whom we were put in contact with by mutual friends in Australia), oversees an English language training program for Mongolian nationals in preparartion for a period of post graduate study at an Australian University. Lisa is a teacher who was recruited by Sarah and had just arrived in Ulanbaatar to spend 4 months teaching in the program that Sarah oversees.

After lunch we strolled around the center of UB, visited the building where Sarah and Lisa (will) work. In addition somehow (I was not part of the discussion) Nina got invited to visit the school on Wednesday and to give a presentation about our past and current travels. It seems that exposing the students to native English speakers is an important part of their studies.
