We departed our parking lot this morning in the rain and for a while continued south on the motorway paying tolls at regular intervals. But eventually our route and inclination took us onto some country roads and through rolling farm land. All in all an unremarkable day.
Eventually we found a spot nicely off the road about 40 km from the town of Delphi (famous in antiquity for its Oracle) and settled in for a very quiet New Years eve.
