What can I say. Finland provided yet another glorious summers day and we enjoyed it. We stopped frequently to photograph the industrious reindeer (they are occupied eating to the extent that they seem not even to notice people), had a swim in one of the very pretty and beckoning lakes (just to find that despite the sun they are pretty bracing).
The Finish countryside continued to be trees and lakes as far as they eye could see, good roads, and every 100km or so a town with surprisingly good facilities. Today, north of the arctic circle, we came upon a little town called Inari with 3 supermarkets and like many we have seen in Finalnd's north, the one we went to was well stocked with a surprisingly wide selection of goods.
Our camping spot tonight was a small pull-off above a little lake, with lots of insects trying to get into the camper with us.
I am pleased to report that the source of our water leak has definitely been found and temporarily remedied.
I say temporarily because the source of the leak is the water filter that provides the second stage filtering for our drinking faucet, it leaks where the supply line enters the filter housing.
We have not been able to stop the leak at its source but by turning off the supply of water to the filters (and hence to the drinking faucet) we have been able to prevent leaking.
So for now we are leak free
