The final leg of the drive into Copenhagen was good, 4 lane motorway and weather that was the same as yesterday a mix of sun and heavy rain, but all in all an easy days driving.

We arrived at our intended camping spot, Absalon Camping towards the end of the afternoon. We were a bit surprised as the place was huge with perhaps a couple of hundred campers/caravans. At reception we were told that they did not really have space for us inside but that we could park in the Quick stop (a place at the front of the campground where late arrivals could park. From our point of view this was perfect. The Quick spot had a hard surface, electricity and was closer to both the front entrance (and hence the train station) and all facilities than any of the inside camping places. As we paid for our expected two nights camping we got an insight into the high cost of living in Denmark, the camping was US$40 and in addition (if we had wanted it) $10 for 12 hours internet.

I spent a little time during the afternoon/evening talking to both Merex and GXV about getting a replacement for the hot water tank. Merex reported that according to their local Bosch/Webasto dealer, that particular model of tank is not available in Germany; hard to believe but what can one say.
