One of the perpetual and sometimes pleasant things about travel is finding out "how things work". Today was a good example of this phenomena. We had learned (through Nina's researches) that there was a bus from the Autocamp to the national Park at 9:00 in the morning, that inside the park there were a variety of walks that one could take and that in addition there was a boat ride possible and a a "train" service provided transport within the park when one did not want to walk. But exactly how that all worked was a mystery. One that we soon started to unravel.

The 9:00am bus to the NP did not return until 5:00pm (too long for us so we decided to drive the truck and park at entrance). Even at this time of year the place was swarming with Chinese and Japanese tourists. The park entry ticket allows only one ride (per ticket) on the single boat route. The "train" we had been told about is actually a truck pulling a number of carriages along the parks internal road system. Interestingly for us Unimog owners the trucks doing the pulling were Unimog U400's.

We did a lot more walking than perhaps we had expected to. The attraction is a series of lakes and water falls. Like a very large version of water flowing over a series of rim-pools that one often sees in natural caves. See the photos for a better explanation. The best views of this really interesting and picturesque structure is from the extensive network of walkways and thats why we walked farther than we expected.

A really interesting and unexpected place. Well worth the effort to get to.
