We spent much of the day with Erik discussing various aspects of our truck and trucks in general. Towards the end of the day Erik led us to a local supplier of truck seats where we chose two new seats for our yellow beast. They will be ready (we hope) in about 6 weeks. Some time before then we will drop the truck back at Erik's place where they will be installed.
Erik and his Adventure Trucks site seem like a good point of contact for travelers like us who need services for our expedition trucks.
From Erik we learned about Amsterdam City Camp, much closer to town than the Uitdam place we had previously stayed so in the afternoon as we returned to Amsterdam that is were we headed. It was an interesting place, though in no way picturesque. A gravel parking lot set up just for motorhomes, electricity at each spot, water and dump at a central spot, entry and exit via a card operated security gate. The good news is that it was only 15 minutes from central station by a free ferry.
