We had a good deal more motorway before entering the English Lakes District where we spent a delightful few hours passing through quaint villages, past picturesque lakes, and dense forests. We felt a little disappointed that we don't have the time to linger, as we wish to spend our available time in Scotland .
The afternoon saw us closing in on Scotland and by passing Glasgow. After a long day of driving we were relieved to find a campground in the town of Balloch, on the southern shores of Loch Lomond.
