We followed along the coast from Nairn today, with some great coastal scenes and quaint villages alternating with pastoral areas of golden grain and rich brown newly plowed fields. All of this in glorious sunshine and one of the warmest days we have experienced in Britain.
We finished the day in a non pretentious, though adequate, campground in the village of Fraserburgh. Right next door was a beach with golden sand and even real sand dunes. On the beach front we found a building, with a sign, for the local Surf Life Saving Club. We were a little amused by the use of the word surf, as we would have been hard set to find any waves to measure.
