I found out this morning that Nina "really likes" stone bridges and still water. A bit of a surprise really as you would think there was nothing new to find out after all the years we have been together. But there you are, that explains the bridge photos.
Our destination today was the town of Waterford a relatively short drive that took us through the town of New Ross and the nearby hamlet of Dunganstown where we visited the Kennedy Homestead. This is the ancestral home of the American Kennedy family. The place is now in part a museum to the visit that JF Kennedy made in 1963 as president. The old car seat in the picture is the seat on which Kennedy sat when he had afernoon tea with his Irish relatives.
Waterford, we found was a quaint little harbor town and our nights accommodation was a hotel on the main street with recently renovated, spacious rooms.
