The weather was still wet this morning and got worse as the day progressed. The poor weather has diminished our enthusiasm for exploration and now we are thinking of increasing our pace and getting back to Gig Harbor a little earlier.
Much of the day was spent on busy highways passing by Montreal. Late in the day we crossed Grand Îsle onto Quebec highway 132 and towards the US border crossing at Fort Covington. The border crossing was only a short stop with a brief search of the vehicle and then we were on our way. It felt strange to have the yellow truck back in the US after all this time.
The night was spent in a Walmart in the town of Massena.
