Today we got a good dose of Washington farm country. Lots of fields of straw colored growth, some just stuble having been recently harvested, some tall and swaying and about to be harvested (we assume). Quaint little towns some of which seem to be caught in a bit of a time warp, except for all the modern pickup trucks. Really a pleasant day and a salutory reminder of the scope of farming.

The rest stop at Alpowa Summit proved to be too good an opportunity so we stayed the night. One of the things we like about RVing - you always have your home with you and it is always set up ready to live in.
