This is the first entry for my proposed motorcycle ride around Australia. The start date for this adventure is still 3-4 weeks away so there is no riding to report on as yet. But I am reasonably far into the preparation.

My vehicle for this ride is a 2021 Suzuki DR650 which I have owned from new and current shows 13000km+ on the odometer. It was recently serviced in prep for the big adventure and now sports new tyres, new chain and new sprockets.

As I noted in the side panel blurb I expect this trip will cover 14,000km or more and last for 8-10 weeks depending on road and weather conditions, as well as the resiliance of my old body.

I will post some photos of the bike below together with the stuff I am packing as that exercise progresses.
